finally figured out how flexbox works and am working on a flexbox version of this site to see how it goes. So far so good. Finished the base version, now just need to remake the mobile/tablet versions.
Working on my arts page! Wont be posting any changes until that is done. :3
Made the welcome page responsive, however it's still janky on laptops/shorter screens. The mobile version of the homepage is in the works and should be good to go soon.
I really need to learn more about aspect ratios.

I am currently working on a responsive version of the welcome page! I've also begun work on multiple other pages I'm hoping to link soon!
I've been so absorbed in figuring out responsive code I haven't been updating my updates lol oops.
I've gone through at LEAST 5 different versions while trying to figure it out. This is the closest I've gotten to something functional. (functional in my editor at least)
Shout out to TabF5 looking at their code made the hamster in my brain finally start running on its wheel.
The mobile/tablet views are still very much under construction but at least I've got some bones for it. It's a bit wonky on some devices tho.
I'm trying to add more features to the shelf bit by bit even if their
respective pages aren't existing yet.
For the status bar I decided to keep it as a manual thing for now. I tried to use an iFrame but status.cafe never sent me an email???? It's been WEEKS.
I also changed nearly all my imgs to webp and jpeg to save on space.
The button/blinkies box was removed from the homepage and will be placed into the links page later.
I've started pushing to github and I'm working on having github push my changes directly to here, but we shall see if it works or if it breaks eVeRyThiNg~
tweaked some stuff on welcome page, added some more animated pixel graphics I made, created a status box,
I learned about fanlistings! So I added some to the button box

Made a little typing frog gif for my updates section! As well as a site button.
Made a todo box to keep track of what I want to work on.
Began attempting to create a marquee for site buttons, but its not going well lol it took me so long just to figure out what it was called in order to research.
also began creating a links page after learning how important they are. the base is done but I still need to figure out what the heck im putting in it.
added: 'current interests' box, buttons box, updates box, back-to-welcome-page button and trinketshelf.
updated homepage design, and coded on all foundational elements

HELLO!
Welcome to my little passion project! I'm treating this site as an art project as well as a social media replacement.
I know this isn't an original sentiment, but I'm not big on social media. Social media just feels like it has these invisible strings attached, and tends to bog me down emotionally. At least with this site I have full control and creative freedom!
I am still very new to coding (I started learning at the start of 2025) so I have LOADS to learn, but I am so excited to! I can't wait to bring my ideas to fruition and build this site into something fun and inspiring to explore! Thank you to all those on neocities who have inspired me! (a links page is in the works where I will link my biggest inspirations)
